New Year Clearing for the Soul

When a new year presents itself many people will create resolutions to clean up, clear out and de-clutter many aspects of their life. Whether it be our homes, our bodies or our energetic fields, a good cleanse and clean up can be a very good thing.

When we take the time to clean up and cleanse our energetic fields our soul is given room for expansion and growth. It is given the opportunity to release anything that we have been challenged to let go of. As we let go of this heavy baggage that has been weighing us down our consciousness begins to re-awaken within. What has been stagnant and stuck can now be free and flowing.

With some positive intention and a little bit of commitment we find ourselves approaching this clearing with optimism and the results lend us lightness of spirit, energetic flow and the return of possibilities. Our energy that may have once been waning is restored. Our thinking that may have been clouded becomes clearer. Our emotions that may have been strained and negative are now open and more positive.

There are many ways one can clear their energetic fields and open the door to their soul's longing and freedom. Some use crystals, some meditation, some visualization, others chanting or drumming. Finding what works for you is not unlike finding the food plan that aligns with your body's needs or the exercise program that supports your body's movement.

Whatever method you choose to cleanse your energies, do so in a gentle and supportive way. Give yourself the time and space to be present and relaxed. Rushing through will not give you the results you are seeking. Be open to the possibility that it may take repeated efforts to get to the place of ease and freedom you are seeking. As with many de-cluttering efforts, the work sometimes is best done in layers and over time. Find what works for you and commit to it. The end results will bring freshness to your soul's work, lightness to your energetic fields and fluidity to your thoughts.

Taking Time

Fast paced! That is what the world's energy feels like of late. Hurrying from one task to the next, quickly completing one goal only to set another. Rushing through the experiences of life so that we can get to the next. And we miss so very, very much.

It is easy to get pulled into the flow of this energy. We find ourselves overwhelmed, frustrated, unfulfilled and exhausted. Fast forward does not work well for most of us. It forces us to cram life's moments one on top of the next, without the full rich experience, without the opportunity to enjoy, witness or receive all that is within them.

We ignore our natural rhythms and take on a pace that is set by some unseen force that does not align with our energies. Eventually, this all comes to a screeching stop as our body complains, our mind stresses and our soul aches.

When we slow down and take the time we become more mindful and observant. We are much more present and aware. We find lessons and gifts in the moments of our life. We witness the beauty of others and all that surrounds us. We experience joy and love; two energies that thrive in the gentleness of pleasurable luxury, unmeasured time and open possibilities.

We become aligned and restore our own personal balance. Tasks still demand our attention, but we discover we are better at completing them. We recognize that our hurried state can only serve us for so long before we are just a speeding reckless being that is quickly burning out.

Abandoning the frenzied pace that is so readily presented to us gives us the chance to find our own pace that is comfortable, agreeable and keeps us in our power and in our grace. We can consciously choose when we need to amp up our energies, but it certainly does not need to be something we give our control over to. Living at our own pace, taking time to be present and engaged, we find brings abundance to our moments that fuel us for the long and steady as well as the quick and demanding.

The Many Roles of You

There are the givers and the takers, the movers and the shakers. We all play different roles throughout our days of our lives. Regardless of the role, the energy we bring to it, the way we approach this role has so much to do with how engaged, receptive or present we are. We have the choice to be fully present or to be absent and resentful.

We all hold times where we are doing for others and then those times are balanced with others doing for us. Both are equally important. Neither should be done begrudgingly. Bringing our pure authentic energies to these roles creates beauty and flow. Each role can create acts that are gifts to the relationship.

Whether we are in a place of nurturing or witnessing, it is important for us to bring our appreciation to the moment, to bring our gratitude to those we are engaged with, and to explore the possibilities of the outcome and all its potential. Approaching our roles with this positive perspective allows lessons to flow, energies to expand, and generates forward movement of beauty and grace.

This fullness of energy awakens within us a sense of integrity and a satisfaction of service. It also brings alignment to our body, mind and soul. With this alignment we put out the welcome mat to those who we are meant to meet, to attract and to dance this magical dance of life with. The people and circumstances that become a part of our day bring richness and wonder. By bringing our best to every role we hold, we allow the Universe to create possibilities, to shower abundance and to gift us with lessons that will amplify the brilliance of this lifetime in very powerful ways.

After the Yes!

So you have said yes to the Universe! Congratulations. Let the fun unfold! Now you will find that all that crosses your path has meaning and impact on how you unfold, what you decide and how you engage. Now you will see things differently and from a amazing new perspective. The horizon of your life's path has forever changed.

Your "No" will be limited now, as it will only be used for boundary setting, preventing energy manipulation and in seeking balance. You will no longer say no to things you don't like or feel like dealing with, because the wisdom of your yes is ready to embrace the lessons. You no longer are allowing your fear to keep you small with your "No" of insecurity.

You are ready to converse with the Universe. You are ready to give your soul voice. You are engaged and present, singing, dancing, honoring and witnessing. Your "Yes" rings out among the stars, echos through the mountains, dives deep into the seas and fans the fires of the Gods.

Your "Yes" awakens your trust of self. It sits beside your authentic truth. Your "Yes" clearly states that you are willing to flex with, to learn about and to release what is needed. Your "Yes" requires you to step aside and move out of your way. Your "Yes" tells your ego to relax about the change, that change is inevitable and beautiful and alive.

Your "Yes" opens the doors to the energies that flow to you and through you. Yes means that your awareness will be heightened and brilliant. Yes means you are willing to make mistakes, to play and explore, to pause and rest and to go deep and wide. Your "Yes" will become a way of life for you and you will one day look back and find it difficult to remember any other way!

Blessings, Lisa
