Release After Coming Full Circle

As I got a bit more familiar with my spiritual path and my life's journey, I began to see the patterns that had shutterstock_156255440created the story of my life. I also began to notice that in life, Source being incredibly patient and generous with me, would offer me opportunities for lessons. Sometimes I could only take these lessons in small doses, needing them to repeat again in my life until I received all the medicine within them. I have also noticed that when I am ready to release an old pattern, a distant fear, or change a habit that does not serve me, I come full circle one last time so that I can very intentionally and with beauty and grace make the final release. This sense of resolve sends a message throughout my entire being. I am ready for the next chapter, the next step or the opportunity that is coming my way. I have made the room, learned the experience, grown and evolved into a new me!

This place of release has a familiar essence to it, obviously because I have been here before, but something is different. My soul feels this difference and steps forward with encouragement and confidence, my heart knows this place and offers compassion and self love, and my mind recalls the ways in which this no longer serves me and is ready to embrace new perspectives and possibilities. I feel courageous, empowered and ready.

images-5It is at this place of clarity that I can look back to where I have been and forward to where I may wish to be. In this place of pause I am filled with wonder. Life is full. I am delighted in who I am becoming, proud of who I am and loving of from where I have come. I know that this will continue to be a positive pattern of my evolution in my being and I witness myself with awe, wonder and celebration and then I release what is ready to go. Coming full circle is a beautiful dance with my body, mind and soul.

Abundance Can Be Found Where You Wish To See It

In today's economy there are those who are struggling. Paychecks seem to be falling short on meeting living expenses. Savings are slowly disappearing. Upon first glance one may question the abundance in their life. But abundance is not only about finances or possessions. Especially when we are feeling strapped and having to restrict our spending on frivolous adventures, we need to remind ourselves that abundance is not just found on what we have in material measure. Abundance can be found in your spiritual experiences. Your connection with Source and your practices can bring a wealth of peace, riches to your heart and awaken your generosity to be shared without it costing you.

Our relationships also add to our feelings of abundance. Having a close friend or a partner to share with adds to the quality of our life. Many times when we share an experience with someone our delight is multiplied as we see through our own eyes as well as theirs. We create memories that can be danced in again and again.

Abundance can also be found in our times spent in solitude. For some the connection with Nature brings to them jeweled moments that they treasure and use to rejuvenate their soul. For others, the richness of silence affords them to seek tranquility and inner peace whose value cannot be measured. And for some, spending time alone allows the inner authentic conversations to take place, creating fuel to ignite passions and desires.

True abundance is measured not by what we have or own, but instead by what we enjoy and appreciate. Our richness is measured in the perspective that we view it. Our treasures may not sparkle or shine, but they certainly bring tremendous value to our lives.

The Bits and Pieces and Bonds

Life is not like a movie, scenes are not edited in or out. We tend to look at our life as though it is shutterstock_155543597filled with an uncountable number of bits and pieces that area separate and apart from each other. Our perspective does not always take in the fact that it is all connected, we are all one, that what is above is within and what a part of you is part of me. Rumi is quoted as saying, "Everything you see has its roots in the unseen world. The forms may change, yet the essence remains the same. Every wonderful sight will vanish; every sweet word will fade, but do not be disheartened, the source they come from is eternal, growing, branching out, giving new life and new joy. Why do you weep? The source is within you and this whole world is springing up from it."

Science has now proven what the mystic, the sage, the shaman has known all along. The force found in life, the essence of the universal energies, though often unseen, is the foundation of it all! This energy flows through everyone and everything. The trees, the old man, the food you feed your body, the unborn baby, the water of the seas, the touch from your lover, the crystal you placed on your altar or the whisper of your voice. It is impossible to exist without this connection. There are those who do not have the vision to see it, those who are too closed down to feel it, those too broken to hold it yet it exists. And when we are able to find the healing, the presence, and the willingness to be with it the bond that builds becomes a strong foundation, a prominent touchstone, a brilliant beacon, and a potent medicine that carries from one to the other again and again, onward and outward.

shutterstock_95723836The Universe is within us and beyond us and whether we are awake to it or not, it does not change its reality. In the Hindu texts of the Upanishads it is stated that the spirit in man and the spirit in the sun are one spirit. There is no other. So today connect to the bits and pieces, embrace the bond and become part of the flow of the universal energies. Feel my touch and I will listen to your song and we will share in the wind's dance and the bird's flight together.

Remembering

file0001464950673(2)How good are you at remembering? Have you noticed that when we feel wronged by someone we can recite in detail the conversation or event. We hold onto every nuance. We may even embellish a bit to give intensity or emphasis in the retelling. Hmmmm. Now, let me ask you another question. Do you remember the great idea you had last week about your unfolding plans and what you wanted to do about it? Do you remember that quote that you read that moved your heart and you felt your inner light shine so bright and you shared it in your Tweets or on your Facebook page so others would delight in it as well? How about do you remember the conversation you had with that someone when you felt truly witnessed and honored? Can you recite the details and nuances of all this? Never forget what you want to remember! If you want to remember how someone wronged you, well, you will! But will that serve you? Will that empower you, bring you joy, happiness, or peace? If you want to remember the aspects of your life that encourage you and delight you, you will, if you put intention there. Where is your focus? Where do you bring your energies of remembrance?

What I have learned is when I am feeling like I am stuck or not growing it is usually because my focusMessage Stones is off. I am not remembering what I should and not letting go of what I need to. Even unconsciously we can hold onto deep entrenching old patterns, they can keep us stuck. We get trapped in the drama of the story. When we are in flow with life, we look to the learning experiences, we listen for the passionate parts of our story and we listen to the callings of our soul and we find ourselves remembering what matters to our heart, to our life, and to our dreams. We need to take the time to invest wisely in our remembering energies. If we use them wisely they will take us far!
